I am an Award-Winning Composer and Performer, most recently named Northwest Emerging Artist of the Year by Earshot Jazz. I have a BFA in Jazz Performance from the New England Conservatory of Music, one of the most prestigious and rigorous music schools in the world.
I have been teaching kids since 2016 and believe deeply in my students, committed to helping them grow their technical abilities alongside their love for music, rather than at the cost of it.
I am currently accepting students for in-person and virtual lessons!

Personalized - I personalize my curriculum to fit each student, inspiring them to reach their unique goals.
Health First - Rooted in healthy sustainable techniques, I make sure every student learns to understand their physiology, working on healthy, comfortable playing.
Creative - I use my Jazz background to help every student learn music theory and listening skills in fun engaging ways that leave them with tools they can use on any instrument and in any genre.
“Lessons with Jahnvi were fun and I thought it was great that we learned parts of songs that musicians had written. I also enjoyed writing my own songs in lessons!” - 5th grade Alto Saxophone Student (Online)
“She helped me develop my soloing and musical ideas […] she is extremely patient and will go at any speed you would like. She has also helped me with ear training and singing as I prepared for my AP music theory exam. 10/10 would recommend her!” - 12th grade Tenor Saxophone Student (In Person)
